I've been frustrated over this game on pc, whenever the game searches for a room, it brings me to a room where no one is there, I even waited for an hour, reinstalled game, reinstalled newest patch with network fix, but still I can't start because no one is on,

Installed the game, DirectX and the 1.1 patch. Game starts, everything is OK till I walk to the end of the pier, then there is a lot of tearing or fractured rendering when I look to the stairs, which is not affected by toggling Vsync or any other in game adjustments. It continues the rest of the time I play. Anybody else have this? How do I get rid of it?

I am asking this because the leaderboards are currently plagued by cheaters with scores in the 500,000 range. As you may know, it is legitmately impossible to get this high.

As you may expect, my request is relevant to the "Get number one in all gametypes leaderboard" achievement.

There is still a community who plays this version of the game regularly (which I am occasionally part of), and it would be fair to us in particular if we could get those achievements. Additionally, reseting the boards may draw in a greater audience to the game as well, but that's just a personal thought.

Since the game has been out for almost 5 years now, it would make sense for a fair leaderboard reset. I purchased Singularity on Direct2Drive, and know that it comes without option to activate the subtitles, and I can't use resolution higher than 1280x720 (I use 1368x760).
